Porch Talk

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

(Psalm 119:105)

Hi! I'm Regina,

Welcome to Regina's Porch Talk: Inspiration for a Woman’s Heart.

I am so glad YOU are here! I pray that here, on my porch, you will find inspiration reading stories of faith, hope, and laughter. But in all of these, it is my greatest desire for you to find hope, based on a core foundation that will lead you home. “Home” is in the loving arms of a Savior who is real, safe, and redemptive. And at the same time, He is creative and imaginative. He created us, didn’t He!

So for today, why don’t you grab a cup of coffee, join me on my porch, and sit back and relax, as you take a moment to find inspiration that comes from the heart.

Be Seeing Ya, Regina!

Reflection-JOY in the JOURNEY

June 9, 2017

Reflecting back… It is hard to believe our oldest grand-daughter was three years old at the time I wrote these words. She was my shadow in bib overalls as we planted flowers, went for drives, and got in to all kinds of mischief, as my husband would say with a twinkle in his eye. But…

Oh, Beautiful Swan

May 22, 2017

Sitting down in the rocker out back, I took a deep breath. The beauty of the reflection of the water allowed my spirit to wrap around God’s voice. “Be still and know that I am God…” Psalm 46:10.   Then a very unusual gift came floating by and the words flowed…   Oh, Beautiful Swan…

There are times it is best just to tell on yourself and get it over with. This is one of those times. With one eye open, I noticed something moving outside our sun-room window. It was hard to make it out because the sun was barely forming a thin line in the morning sky. Was…
